We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical & Instrument Technician to work for a leading Oil & Gas Operator in the UAE.

Based Onshore at their Gas Control Station, you will be responsible for deciding on preventative and corrective maintenance interventions to ensure uninterrupted gas supply. You will be planning, coordinating, and performing maintenance and repair of instrumentation and electrical systems at the Plant, Control Station, LNG and surrounding offsite pipelines.

This position is a permanent staff role with Family Expat package attached. Typical working hours are Sunday to Thursday, 7am to 3:30pm.

Lead E&I Technician Role:

As the Lead E&I Technician, you will be employed to carry out complex fault finding, repair, preventative maintenance on the Plant's instrumentation and electrical equipment. You will be supervising the electrical and instrument technicians across the Plant and GCS assets. You will be receiving and reviewing incoming work requests, transforming them into maintenance requirements. You will be planning, coordinating, scheduling the preventative and corrective maintenance.

Equipment working on, and thus experience required on, includes gas compressors, air compressors, field instruments, control valves, control equipment, vibration monitoring equipment, generators and UPS and small power distribution.

Lead E&I Requirements:

We are ideally seeking for you to have a degree level qualification in an instrumentation/electronic discipline.

We are seeking you to have a minimum of 8 years working as a Lead/Senior E&I Technician / Service Technician in the Oil & Gas sector. This must have been in an in an Onshore environment, ideally as Gas Control Station / Plant providing maintenance in an operating oil and gas facility.

This must include the ability to be "hands on" in the major maintenance (just supervising third parties is not sufficient). You should have been performing failure and root cause analysis as well as incident investigation. You must have experience working on compressors, field instruments, generators and UPS and small power distribution (please detail on CV). You should also have practical and on the job electrical experience.

You must have solid working knowledge of computer applications software (ie Microsoft Office) / Computer Maintenance Management Systems (Oracle).
