Job Description

EXECUTION

  • Perform corrective maintenance tasks according to HSSE requirements and procedures for mechanical defects as assigned
  • Perform scheduled Preventive maintenance tasks according to HSSE requirements and procedures as assigned
  • Troubleshoot general mechanical work and basic static equipment issues
  • Troubleshoot basic rotating equipment issues
  • Report on recurring problems/breakdowns
  • Manage minor shutdown to meet the HSSE and schedule targets. The scope will include planning, preparation, execution and closing out of tasks in the SAP
  • Able to work on extended hours, night shift and week end if necessary
  • Execute minor project/ Plant Change Requests tasks to meet the HSSE and schedule targets. The scope will include planning, preparation, execution and closing out of tasks in the SAP
  • Review the 2 weeks look ahead schedule and prepare for scheduled assignments. The scope will include site check to understand assigned tasks, confirmation of material and equipment availability and completion of permits and MSRA
  • Supervise site work to safety and quality of work done by the contractors meet the site requirement
  • Assist the contractors to resolve issues on site in a timely manner for effective and efficient execution
  • Give timely feedback to the scheduler and Team lead on the progress of the tasks
  • Ensure completion of QA / QC and condition reports by the contractors
  • Ensure completed task are updated timely in SAP (Time confirmation, MCMP, TECO and approve actual hours)
  • Raise material purchase in SAP
  • Update and maintain spare parts inventory


HSSE

  • Comply with LSR and all Site safety procedures, regulations and standard
  • Ensure compliance to HSSE requirement in the execution of the maintenance tasks
  • Attend and participate in the Site Safety standstill and Departmental TBM
  • Participate in scheduled safety walkabout
  • Lead the Blue Zone discussion and development with all relevant parties for assigned tasks
  • Perform TAKE 5 for all tasks

Requirements

 

 

 

 

  • NITEC or higher NITEC or Diploma or Degree in mechanical discipline with a minimum of 2-3 years engineering/maintenance of mechanical equipment field experience in the oil or petrochemical plants
  • Able to work independently as well as in a multidiscipline team
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of GSAP and GAME ME processes would be an added advantage
