Experience and demonstrable competency in fault finding, maintaining and operating maintenance equipment

Carry out the Area Technician role for Control of Work supporting Maintenance and Operations offshore

Read and interpret P&ID's / Schematic Drawings / Isometrics relevant to the discipline

Use Maintenance Management systems - SAP for Notification, Work Order and Material management

Works efficiently with specialist vendors to ensure they complete work safely and efficiently

Ensures accurate logs are maintained for all work carried out and any equipment performance changes are reported and reacted to

Use Mobile Devices and smart software applications to work effectively offshore

Carry out all aspects of work in strict accordance with the Company safety culture and acts as a Safety Leader within the offshore team

Carry out Safety Interventions and audits on all contracting and company activities

Complete Competency Assurance requirements on/offshore to maintain acceptable competency levels

Understand and adhere to company Safety Management System work process' and procedures specific to the role

Carry out Risk Assessments and participate in tool-box talks

Consistently maintains an exemplary high standard of housekeeping

Required to hold a role in the fire team and maintain fitness and competency to do so

Required to stand in as Senior Technician as required

May be required to work in Aberdeen office for periods of time as business needs demand



An Engineering Degree or HNC/ONC in relevant trade (preferable but not essential)

Recognised core Trade apprenticeship is desirable alternatively extensive experience in the same role in a hydrocarbon environment
