POSITION TITLE:  Senior Project Scheduler

LOCATION: West Virginia

NES Global Talent is a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse world-wide client base within multiple industries. Our client is working on a green field methanol plant project and they are looking to add a Senior Project Scheduler to their team. They will be the first methanol production company based in and supporting the northeastern part of the US.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Senior Project Scheduler

  • Directly reporting to the Sr. Project Manager with overall scheduling responsibility for all aspects of the project; engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
  • Prepare conceptual, detailed, and definitive schedules for company projects according to client guidelines and procedures
  • Ensure all aspects of the project schedule are accurate, complete, and on time throughout the duration of the project
  • Generate project schedules along with running risk analysis and contingency
  • Benchmark past projects to help with scheduling timelines and reports
  • Monitor, report, and control project schedule from FEL through project close-out

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Senior Project Scheduler

  • BS in Engineering, Mechanical preferred
  • 10+ years of project scheduling experience from design through construction with petrochemical facilities; methanol a big plus!
  • Strong experience with cost, planning, detailed integration, and scheduling
  • Familiar with construction practices, materials, process equipment
  • Knowledge of various project phases, types, milestones, KPI's etc.
  • Strong knowledge of estimating software; Primavera preferred
  • PMP and or CAPM certified a preference
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
