JOB SUMMARY

Supervise the preparation and painting of all areas of the rig and ensure that painting activities are carried out efficiently.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Journeyman Painter Certificate
  • 3+ years' experience as Industrial Painter
  • Offshore experience considered an asset
  • Basic Survival Training (BST)
  • H2S Alive
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Emergency First Aid
  • Fall Protection
  • Confined Space Entry
  • CAPP Medical
  • Must pass Drug Screen and Background/Pre-Employment Screening Checks.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Plan and prioritize all painting projects. Coordinate activities with supervisors and other department heads
  • Provide paint crewmembers with relevant instruction for current and forthcoming painting activities
  • Ensure that all paint crewmembers are fully conversant with painting and corrosion prevention procedures
  • Ensure proper inventory control of paint goods - maintain adequate supplies onboard at all times
  • Other duties as required
