Focal Point - Pipe Yard


We have a vacancy for a Pipe Yard Focal Point, reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader they will be responsible for controlling all the resources for general yard operations. They will also lead and motivate the pipe-yard team to ensure they are performing at the required level, this will include carrying out performance reviews.

They will also be the first point of contact for managing all service requests, ensuring the provision of plant and labour are in place and minimise unnecessary cost. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in daily planning meetings with the Edzell management team.

The candidates should be able to demonstrate that they promote and incorporate a first class safety culture. Have an in-depth knowledge and experience of yard inventory management. Be able to identify efficiencies, make suggestions for improvement and implement those changes.

The successful candidate must hold a valid Banksman Slinger (stage 3); an awareness of COSHH and IOSH; Rigging Loft Manager and proficient in Microsoft Office.
