This position is located in Anadarko's corporate office as a member of the Global Engineering, Operations & EHS Systems department. The Measurement Systems Administrator position supports corporate, midstream, engineering and operational personnel using a variety of measurement systems (FLOWCAL, TESTit, PROVEit). This individual in this role will be responsible for maintaining and advancing measurement applications and related data interfaces used by the company.
The successful candidate will have:
Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
Advanced working experience supporting one or more of the following technologies: FLOWCAL, Quorum Measurement, PI, Wonderware, Cygnet
Experience with relational databases, including script development, troubleshooting stored procedures, and developing reports using various tools. (PL/SQL, Crystal Reports, MS Access/Excel, Toad, SpotFire, PowerBI)
Basic Windows Server system administration tasks including server log analysis and IIS administration.
An aptitude for solving technical problems.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills and be customer focused.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with ability to collaborate with others from around the company.
Familiar with customer support processes and procedures.
Although not required, the ideal candidate may also possess knowledge or experience in the following areas:
Software development experience.
Knowledge of industry measurement standards. (API, AGA, and GPM).
Working Knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry and field operations.
Provide IT customer support and advisement to the Corporate Measurement Data Management and Measurement Operations organizations.
Must be able to analyze problems and user issues quickly, making sure the appropriate resources are engaged to solve the problem in an acceptable timeframe.
Develop strong relationships to easily engage technical resources from other IT groups as needed.
Build and maintain a strong relationship with key users and service partners.
Meet regularly with stakeholders.
Maintain a professional human network across the various IT departments to enable cross-functional analysis and problem resolution.
Project Management experience is a plus.
Model a strong work ethic and take the lead on a variety of support initiatives.
Be flexible and willing to adapt to changing business requirements.
Continuously learn technologies and apply technologies to user needs.
- Assist with upgrades and modifications to project management and measurement systems.This includes identifying requirements, coordinating and monitoring testing activities, coordinating the necessary change management communications, also providing end-user support and the review of support processes and procedures.
High School Diploma or GED is required; Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field is strongly preferred. Equivalent work experience pertaining to oil and gas, information technologies, and remote field office support could be acceptable.
This position is not eligible for relocation.
The percentage of travel required for this position is 5-10%, with periodic visits to field offices and other Company locations as required.
This position may be eligible for the 5/40 or 9/80 work schedule.
