Plans and coordinates activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment.


    • Directs workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment

    • Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment

    • Requisitions and keeps supply of spare parts and consumables

    • Develops a 10-week work schedule and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment

    • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations

    • Interprets specifications, blueprints, and shop orders to workers, and assigns duties

    • Recommends measures to improve maintenance methods

    • Suggests and implements changes in working conditions to optimize process flow and employee utilization

    • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems

    • Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals

    • Maintains time and maintenance records

    • Confers with other Department Heads to coordinate shop activities to meet strategic Rebuild/refurbished plan

    • Actively participates with equipment maintenance and rebuilds along with workers supervised. D 10



Minimum Qualifications for ConsiderationĀ 


    • Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required

    • Experience: General computer experience; organizational skills. Previous experience managing a rental fleet preferred, previous billing experience a plus

    • McElroy Experience Preferred

    • Skills: Proficient mechanical skills
