ECI, Inc is currently seeking a Document Control Coordinator for a client located in Port Lavaca, TX. This is an immediate need and will be a 2-3 year assignment. Please note- NO PER DIEM is available for this position. Candidate must be local to the area.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop, maintain, and monitor the implementation of the Document Control system across the contracts to provide a platform for consistent storage, distribution and archiving of construction related documentation.
Support the project staff and maintain administrative and project office details.
Coordinate with the Document Control Manager for document control activities on assigned contract.
This includes record/file management, archiving, document control, ordering office supplies, maintaining office equipment and performing various administrative tasks.
Provides general administrative assistance to the project team.
Completion and submittal of Daily Reports of duties, Monthly Reports of work performed and submittal of time sheets in a timely manner to supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
Must have at least 3 years of experience as a Document Control position working with construction management projects .
Must have experience with Contract Management Software (Primavera, Word Document, Excel, Adobe).
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Must have experience drafting Transmittals, drafting RFIs, drafting Organizational Charts.
Experience with coordinating meetings is a plus.
Must be able to execute expectations of employer and project requirement.
Must have a valid driver's license and required to have personal vehicle to drive to work.
