POSITION TITLE:  Environmental Coordinator      

LOCATION: Cameron, LA

Our client is a global leader in the petrochemicals industry with their headquarters in Houston and operating facilities in Texas and Louisiana. They are currently looking to add an Environmental Coordinator to their team in Cameron, LA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: 
Environmental Coordinator

  • Develop and implement environmental programs, policies, procedures, & processes and operating facility
  • Perform presentations & technical reports, site auditing, help ensure environmental compliance, and conduct training sessions
  • Work with various departments to help meet environmental compliance related to capital projects at the plant site
  • Work with supervisor on various tasks related to emissions determinations & calculations, permitting, reporting, inspections, and emergency response

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
 
Environmental Coordinator

  • BS in Environmental Science, engineering, or related technical discipline
  • 3+ years of environmental experience in a chemical/petrochemical/refining/industrial plant environment
  • Strong experience with air emission monitoring, permitting, reporting, and management
  • Active TWIC card
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with federal, state, and local environmental laws, regulations, and standards; Louisiana preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
