The primary function of this role is to provide overall site leadership to the Lee facility. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of all hourly employees and will coordinate and manage all operational and maintenance related duties at the facility. The supervisor will also participate in Project management, Process improvement initiatives, Management of Change execution and procedure development.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Actively participates in the BBO and the Hazard Recognition processes while coaching and supporting other staff participation.
•Enforces safety policies and procedures affecting work performed and observes safe work practices at all times. Recognizes, stops and reports unsafe actions and conditions.
•Provides direction and work assignments to all plant operations personnel.
•Provides operator training in all areas of the facility.
•Ensures that all daily operations & maintenance is conducted in a safe & efficient manner and in accordance with TETRA Policies & Procedures.
•Ensures that both preventative maintenance and repair maintenance is performed to all TETRA physical assets.
•Capable of performing the duties and responsibilities of operations and maintenance personnel as and when required.
•Participate in the capital planning process and the execution of capital projects. Recommend opportunities for improved operations or cost efficiencies.
•Ensures that operations are conducted in accordance with all jurisdictional regulations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
•5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, mining or construction environment.
•A High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus relevant industrial experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•A Bachelor's degree or an Associate's Degree is preferred.

•Strong basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Knowledge of all units of measure, fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent accurately and promptly.
•Ability to administer instructions in various formats. Problem-solving skills.
