Shift: 10 on / 4 off -- Mancamps - Nights (5pm-6am) & Days (5am-6pm)

The Diesel Technician is responsible for assisting with troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and completing preventative maintenance on a Fleet of Heavy Duty Trucks, Trailers and Field Service Equipment. An understanding of electrical, hydraulics, PM, DOT inspections, PC and some software knowledge is required.

Oil industry and equipment experience highly desired. Extremely competitive hourly rates with high overtime potential!

Key Responsibilities:
•Shift: 10 on / 4 off -- Mancamps - Nights (5pm-6am) & Days (5am-6pm)**
•Perform diagnosis and repair of any trucks, trailers or oil field equipment breakdowns
•Repair and rebuild engines
•Repair transmissions, driveline and differentials; Perform repairs to engine accessory components
•Perform tune-ups using established procedures
•Repair steering, suspensions, brake systems, frames, axles, electrical, hydraulic and a/c repairs
•Road test vehicles to ensure quality of work performed

Position Qualifications
•Experience: 2yr tech school degree or 4yr Military experience as Mechanic Technician or Minimum 1yr experience as Mechanic Technician
•Installing Major components and Hydraulic diagnostics.
•Basic electronic troubleshooting 12/24V systems.
•Repairs to Air brake systems and chassis
•Strong Diagnostics and preventative maintenance
•Satisfy all Department of Transportation requirements
•Good ethics and integrity with a high attention to detail
