POSITION TITLE:  Business Development Manager - Offshore Rig Fabrication

LOCATION: Houston, TX

NES Global Talent is a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse world-wide client base within multiple industries. Our client has been in business for over 30 years specialized in providing products and services for the offshore rig industry. They cover everything from project management, upgrades & refurbs to products and technology. They are expanding their business in Houston and looking to hire a business development manager to their team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Business Development Manager - Offshore Rig Fabrication

  • Primary focus will be driving sales for company products & services by adding new customers and maintaining and growing existing ones
  • Work closely with clients and customers on projects from start to completion
  • Work multiple sales projects at any given time
  • Work with leadership and marketing teams to establish target markets and sales strategies
  • Travel to various company construction yards and customer sites
  • Collaborate with project managers & engineers for sales proposals and estimates
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Business Development Manager - Offshore Rig Fabrication

  • BS in Engineering preferred but not required
  • 4+ years of experience ideally in sales in the offshore rig market
  • Experience with drilling rig fabrication and upgrades
  • Knowledge of the offshore oil & gas market
  • Strong experience with proposals, presentations, customer interfacing, and field based sales
  • Experience working long and short sell cycles
  • Ability to travel and work remotely when needed
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and strategic thinker
