Denne informasjonen blir brukt til - avgj-re hvilke bergarter det bores gjennom, topp og bunn av formasjoner, om en bestemt formasjon er n-dd og andre geologiske analyser. V-re Loggegeologer bidrar ogs- til - overv-ke og vedlikeholde v-rt gassutstyr, og oppdatere relevant papirarbeid som kreves for en sikker og effektiv boring.

Arbeidsoppgaver:

Du vil v-re en del av et team som jobber skift rotasjon der du samler og analyser borekaks.
Hovedoppgavene vil v-re:

  • Pr-vetaking av borekaks
  • Geologisk analyse av bergartspr-ver
  • Preparering av pr-ver for videre analyse p- land
  • Oppdatering av relevante skjema og dataprogrammer
  • Produserer geologiske rapporter og formasjonsevalueringslogger
  • Delta i feils-king og drift av offshore utstyr
  • Overv-ke boreoperasjonen, komme med anbefalinger for optimalisering
  • Assistere ved kjerneboring

Kvalifikasjoner:

  • Bachelor (Bsc) eller Master (Msc) innen Petroleum, Geologi, Geofysikk,-Kjemi-eller andre realfag

We need to strengthen our technical staff, and we are therefore looking for a Log Analyst to our Sperry drilling department in Halliburton.

Today our department consists of Log Analysts / Petrohycisists who are working either at the customer-s office or at Halliburton-s offices based in Tananger.
This position gives an opportunity to expand your knowledge within logging and drilling operations by planning the well, being involved in real-time operation and perform post evaluation and analysis of the completed wells.

Job description:

As a Log analyst, you will have the responsibility to quality control the data from the drilling operation based on data acquisition from our downhole tools.
These measure the physical response to the relevant geology. The Quality control will be in cooperation with people offshore and other drilling related disciplines.
In addition, the Log analyst will process and finalize the data according to the need from the clients and the authorities.

Qualifications:

Master (MSc) or Bachelor degree (BSc) in Petroleum Engineering ,- Petrophysic or strongly related fields.

Experience within log analytics or drilling related operations is beneficial, but not a must. Newly graduated will also be considered.

Knowledge about computer based log analytics.

Good analytical skills.

Excellent written and oral skills in English.

Good presentation skills.

Experience within XRD/XRF is beneficial.

By 1946, the company – using its innovative technology – had expanded into Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and the Middle East and began performing services for the Arabian-American Oil Company, the forerunner of Saudi Aramco.

 

In 1951, Halliburton made its first appearance in Europe as Halliburton Italiana SpA., a wholly owned subsidiary in Italy. In the next seven years, Halliburton launched Halliburton Company Germany GmbH, set up operations in Argentina and established a subsidiary in England.

 

In 1984, Halliburton provided all of the well completion equipment for the first multiwell platform offshore China. Two years later, Halliburton became the first American company to perform an oilfield service job on the China mainland

 

The final decade of the 20th century brought more changes and growth to Halliburton. The company opened a branch office in Moscow in 1991.

 

The company realigned its work into Eastern and Western Hemisphere operations in 2006, and in 2007, divided its service offerings into two divisions: Completion and Production, and Drilling and Evaluation.
