KEY JOB TASKS:
Responsibility for coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects. Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned detailed engineering work;
Technical support and assistance in workpreparation for Production.
RELATION TO OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Reports to the General Manager.
Reports to Project Manager as teammember of the Projectteam.
RESPONSIBILITES & AUTHORITIES:
Taking care that production activities are in accordance with determined demands;
Acting upon company policy objectives;
Participating in Productionmeeting to discuss progress and planning of the project.
Determining risks and if required execute risk analysis.
Monitors work for compliance to applicable codes (PED), accepted engineering practices,;
The analysis of reports, maps, drawings, blueprints
Prepare test and approval demands in the Ïnspection Control Plan (ICP)
Assuring acceptance basic design and detailled engineering
Assessment of executed NDE examination;
Inform NoBo when significant changes are require
Reviews and monitors project progress to assure quality and adherence to technical requirements of contract documents.
Workpreparation of projects and orders.
Prepares productionmaps containinging designs, drawings, plans and specifications for projects, engineered systems, technical equipment or components.
? Prepares, controls and initializes (stamp) the drawings for Production.
? Directs and supervises the rank of work, testing and examination.
? Laying down specifications at the Purchase Department.
? If required prepares welding specifications (WPS)
? Assuring valid weldingqualifications are available (WPQ and PQR)
? Technical specification review and resolution using the appropriate norms and technical documentation.
? File projectdocumentation in projectfile.
? Perform Last Minute Risk Analyses prior to execution
