Job Description

  • Comply with Shell HSSE golden rules and Shell General Business Principles (SGBP).
  • Responsible to lead and manage the projects related to the logistic operational activity (i.e.: opening new warehouse) with sufficient detail to allow for early assessment, feasibility of implementation, integration with logistic and other operations, business case evaluation and cost impact assessment.
  • Work closely with Stakeholders in the all stages of project development and execution to ensure team alignment to deliver the projects in timely and safely manner (tracking the projects updates, completeness of required actions, timeliness in delivery, system, testing, etc.). Be the Champion of project progression to meet business objectives.
  • Development of strategies, tactics and new ideas in the logistic operational within the Indonesia logistic organizations to improve logistic operational performance and support the business growth.
  • Develop mid and long term strategies for Indonesia logistic master plan . This could include the logistic footprint and network design, capacity plan for transportation and warehouse, route to market, etc.
  • Assist Logistic Managers for any logistic tender or contract renewal via: Opportunity framing workshop, participation in Business Opportunity Teams (BOT) and supporting for the Decision Review Board (DRB) meeting.
  • Be the main contact point for any new initiatives and/or any new project that will be impacted to the logistic operational activity within the Indonesia logistic supply chain organization.
  • Work with Process Expert, GSAP team, external vendors or any 3rd party technology providers as required for any system development / upgrade required for the logistic operations.
  • Proactively benchmarking the logistics development in the industry.
  • Drive LSC Customer Focus CVP with LSC Planning, Sales and Marketing, OTC and customers to maintain high standards of Customer Satisfaction.
  • Actively support Regional and Global improvement programs by providing strong ground support.

Requirements

  • Qualified Logistics professional or minimum 5 years' experience in E2E Logistics operations and/or with minimum 5 years project management experience.
  • Knowledge of transport scheduling systems and warehousing management.
  • Have SAP knowledge and experience in supply chain, especially for logistics and planning.
  • Able to work under pressure and with tight timeline.
  • Action oriented person with analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal person, easily mingled and with sharp analytical skill.
  • Good communication skill and decision making skill.
  • High level of HSSE awareness.
  • Higher passion for driving Customer First behavior
  • Self-starter with a passion for delivering tangible results
  • Strong communicator with successful experience interfacing with many levels of the organization especially operating employees.
  • Excellent MS Office Skills especially working with data.
