? Bachelor of Science Degree in Geoscience, Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent. Post-graduate or Masters in any of these disciplines is an advantage.
Experience and attributes:
? Minimum 15 years of working experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with the last five years in the area of Planning or Business Development

Responsible to drive the development and implementation of a comprehensive and integrated Knowledge Management Framework to institutionalise the knowledge agenda across PETRONAS domestic and international business operations. Establish the blueprint and infrastructure on technology and oil and gas information intelligence that will promote and assimilate seamless sharing of PETRONAS Group, global and industry performances and standards, best practices and lessons learnt as a culture to innovate and enhance operational excellence as well as bringing values to PD&T businesses.
1. Knowledge Management Strategy
? Drive the formulation and implementation of PETRONAS' Knowledge Management Strategy to accelerate, escalate and institutionalise knowledge-based network and organisational capabilities across PETRONAS global business operations as a means to integrate and assimilate operational performance standards, best practices, lessons learnt, technology-based information intelligence sourced internally and externally to continuously enhance and sustain PETRONAS operational excellence.
2. Establishment of Knowledge Management Blueprint & Infrastructure
? Lead and drive the establishment and integration of Groupwide Knowledge Management Infrastructure as a single platform for consolidation of intellectual assets for knowledge sharing and insights. Adopt best-fit tools and methodologies and any other value-added enabling medium to support the infrastructure to ensure high standard of knowledge repositories that provide rapid access of information regardless of location.
? Develop Knowledge Management policies, system and procedures and roadmaps as blueprint for managing PETRONAS intellectual assets. Guide the development of a framework to systematically capture, classify, codify and share lessons learnt, best practices and improvements by seeking new knowledge within and beyond PETRONAS Group to spur knowledge creation and in the process, create a knowledge driven culture to enhance organisational learning Groupwide.
3. Acquisition of Knowledge Capital and Assets
? Strategise and guide the acquisition of knowledge capital and assets to transform PETRONAS tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge by leveraging on strategic alliances and collaboration with global universities to accelerate organisational learning that will evolve PETRONAS' Knowledge Management from operating as an intellectual asset to creator of innovations and inventions.
4. Harnessing Business Values from PETRONAS Tacit Knowledge
? Strategise and guide the translation of consolidated PETRONAS tacit knowledge including best practices and lessons learnt into business values by collaborating and influencing with other PD&T sectors/departments to adopt specific best practices and lessons learnt to achieve cost optimisation, efficient operations and reduced HSSE risk.
5. Engagement and Change Management
? Formulate and drive change management programs to promote and institutionalise the knowledge sharing culture Groupwide through effective communication strategy, engagement and plans
? Provide advice and guidance for the management of PETRONAS Technical Standards by establishing policies and framework to develop manage and update the Groupwide Technical Standards and implement an evaluative methodology framework to assess the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) dependability as to ensure it is in line with international standards.
