Rotation of 91 days on site and 15 days off (+2 days traveling)

Job summary/Role description
CEA executes the activities pertaining to his discipline in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures.
Duties and responsibilities
To implement the pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures for electrical equipment.
Execute with the assigned crew from the Sub Contractor all the activities pertaining to the discipline.
Ensure effective utilization of commissioning manpower and consumables
Ensure the execution of Vendor's specialists field activities with the assigned resources from the Sub Contractor as per Vendor's representative plan.
Perform Checklist as per supervisor instructions.
Prepare the forms for all tests to be performed and ensure submission of the certificates, duly signed by involved parties for final hand over to the certification engineer (QA/QC).
To assure the proper safety procedures are followed during cable tests (meggering, induction test), test of motors, transformers, relays, electrical panels etc.
Can be the authorized person designated by the site manager to receive or issue a Permit To Work according to the project Permit To Work Procedure
Assistance to supervisor for:
- Expediting of pending Punch List Items in accordance with Commissioning
Superintendent (COT) priorities;
- Coordination and supervision of Construction support activities during the performance of the pre-commissioning, commissioning activities. To implement the pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures for rotary equipment;
Carry out and verify instrument calibration;
Provide effective troubleshooting during loop test and logic test;
Ensure proper removal and reinstatement of instrument and control device during commissioning activities.
Knowledge & Qualifications
Suitable University Degree
Similar role covered in last three projects as a minimum;
Experience in Chemical & Petrochemical projects, specifically Polypropylene / Polyethylene plants and preferably familiar with electrical systems and equipment related to the Spherizone® & Spheripol® process systems;
Experience in on-site pre-commissioning / commissioning of electrical systems and equipment;
Skills and Abilities
Excellent IT and analytical skills;
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills;
Strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution;
Attention to detail, strong communications and interpersonal skills.
