POSITION TITLE:  Environmental Manager

Our client is a global leader in producing petrochemicals with manufacturing facilities around the globe with revenue in the billions. They are currently looking to add an Environmental Manager to their team in Westlake, LA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

Environmental Manager


    • Lead, manage, and champion the environmental and sustainability activities

    • Will include environmental permitting, hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, environmental reporting to agencies and corporate sustainability reporting

    • Heavily involved in development and delivery of environmental training

    • Work closely with HSE Manager on various job duties

    • Develop and implement ISO 14001 compliance procedures and requirements

    • Represent and assist company on all permitting applications and support documentation



ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: 

Environmental Manager


    • BS in Environmental Science, engineering, or related technical discipline

    • 10+ years of environmental experience in a chemical plant environment

    • RCRA certified preferred

    • Experience with Title V permitting and MACT standard compliance

    • Experience preparing 311,312, and 313 reports

    • Strong understanding/experience with hazardous & non-hazardous waste management

    • Experience with sustainability life management

    • Strong communication and leadership skills
