Position Summary

This position will provide support to the Senior Financial Systems Manager in the maintenance and development of Hyperion databases and applications including, but not limited to, HFM, FDMEE, Planning, Essbase, Financial Reports (FR) and end-user tools such as Smart View. Position will also assist in the administrative duties for the Blackline Account Reconciliation application.



Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Assist in the development and enhancement of Hyperion databases, applications and tools to support financial and operational reporting
  • Provide daily data and process validation to confirm system outputs are correct and ensure data
  • Run routine system processes and reporting to support monthly financial close.
  • To comply with SOX requirements will document changes to applications, databases, security, etc.
  • Manage user set ups with appropriate access to
  • Maintain and develop calc scripts, business rules, partitions and rules
  • Create and manage Hyperion reports that address current Company/user
  • Provide support to user community through troubleshooting, report development, and
  • Assist in implementation and upgrade of new Hyperion
  • Assist in administration of Blackline which includes: user maintenance, management of workflow and accounts; data load reconciliation between Oracle and Blackline, and related
  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.







Position Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is
  • Should have at least 3 to 5 years of specific work experience as a Hyperion admin or power user.
  • Must have extensive experience working with HFM, Planning, Essbase, Financial Reports, financial and general business analysis, and end-user tools such as Smart
  • Experience in developing or administering one or more of the following Hyperion applications- HFM, Planning, Essbase, Financial Reports, and/or tools such as Smart View-is a plus.
  • Must be a detail oriented, self-starter and able to work with little supervision while maintaining goals/tasks.
  • Must have excellent leadership and analytical
  • Must have excellent PC skills to include all MS Office products with advanced capabilities in Excel.

Work Environment

This position will typically work in a climate controlled building in the corporate office of Parker Drilling.
