MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS

 

Reporting to the FPSO Technical Leader:

  • Manage and coordinate all the ICSS activities, including a close follow-up of the EPC contractor and its ICSS sub-contractor to ensure a safe and optimized design in line with the project requirements;
  • Ensure that the ICSS activities are executed by the EPC contractor and its ICSS sub-contractor in compliance with the EPC contract requirements, including scope, specifications, schedule and cost wise;
  • Ensure all along the project execution a good coordination with Operations and Maintenance teams, including an efficient communication and proper alignment on the technical solutions implemented, the associated timing and support to be provided;
  • Integrate HSE in all aspects of the work;
  • Maintain a pro-active and positive team spirit within the PBF team and with the EPC Contractor and its ICSS sub-contractor.

This position is foreseen for the entire project duration and is planned to be in two main phases:

Phase1 Detail Engineering:

14 to 18 months - located in Paris (EPC contractor and sub contractor office). Missions offshore and onshore Angola are anticipated during engineering phase as well as others missions abroad on request at VENDOR or sub contractor premises.

Phase 2 Offshore phase:

At the end of the detail engineering, the position will cover the supervision of the offshore activities for the ICSS discipline on board the FPSO Pazflor. Possible re-location of the position in Angola, with frequent missions offshore.

 
 
 

1. To promote safety culture within PBF and his activities. Lead by exemplarity to have the other team members adhering and contributing.

2. To ensure that safe and ethic working practices are carried out within the activities that he is managing or interfacing with. To guarantee the compliance on his activities. To adopt & demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regard to the CY Ethics and "Code of Conduct" policy & to promote/enforce the TEPA Anti-Corruption Program within the team.

3. With the spirit of One TOTAL values, to establish and manage his activities motivating his counterparts and to work diligently to meet the targets of the Projects.

4. To ensure that state of the art, TEPA referential and local rules/laws are complied with and captured in all contractual requirements.

5. To promote innovation as far as compatible with good enough approach for all activities. To seek optimization and savings all along the different phases of the project. To focus on costs and 3C program without impairing HSEQ objectives.

6. To manage and coordinate the ICSS discipline activity and associated contract under the EPC contractor and sub CTR to ensure a safe and optimized design in line with contract specifications, cost and project schedule.

7. To take an active part in the review of the ICSS discipline documents part of the EPC contract by providing relevant comments in due time, and pro-actively contribute in the resolution of potential issues.

8. To take an active part in all technical process reviews for the ICSS discipline and SAT, FAT, IFAT and associated tests.

9. Ensure all along the project execution a good coordination with Operations and Maintenance teams, including an efficient communication and proper alignment on the technical solutions implemented, the associated timing and support to be provided.

10. To highlight any deviation to contract specifications and Company specifications and as well look for optimization and good enough design.

11. To participate to weekly, monthly and ad-hoc ICSS discipline meetings with EPC CONTRACTOR and sub CONTRACTOR.

12. To technically review acceptance of EPC contractor technical queries and derogations for the ICSS discipline and liaise with HQ for derogation approval.

13. In relation with others TOPSIDE discipline leaders, optimize as required the ICSS design in order to facilitate the offshore work and SIMOPS operation and duration.

14. Be the focal point of HQ for the ICSS discipline and coordinate the activities and document review done via RFS if any

15. To manage the ICSS activities during the all the offshore phase and full shut down to ensure that activities are carried out safely in line with contract, cost and schedule, including commissioning and start-up .

16. To liaise with SURF and SPS packages as requested for all ICSS interfaces.

17. To assist ZINIA ph2 FPSO Technical Leader and FPSO Package Manager on specific transverse topics

18. As deemed required, provide assistance to other PBF projects with regards to ICSS discipline.

 

CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT

  • Challenging market conditions.
  • Declining B17. PBF projects as Zinia Ph 2 are developed to compensate this declining trend.
  • Brown Field Project on PAZFLOR FPSO with important SIMOPS activities to be optimized and well prepared.
  • ZINIA ph2 execution involves a high level of synergies within PBF and ZINIA ph2 SURF and SPS packages.

Ability to communicate in an international context with multi-disciplinary teams. Ability to adapt and to manage efficiently several activities in parallel.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Lead ICSS engineer with solid ICSS background - 10 years experience as a minimum.
  • Experience in brown field project and familiar with field operation requirements.
  • Good communication skills, organizational skills and positive attitude.
  • Good English level (minimum of level 4 on the Bright test).
