Pegtroplan is actively recruiting for a Senior GIS Analyst to work for a growing Oil & Gas company in the Dallas area. This position requires a seasoned, local Analyst with previous Oil & Gas experience.

Responsibilities & Experience Requirements:

  • Lead GIS function and administer ArcGIS Server, ESRI Portal and web map with current data and desired content.
  • Coordinate with various departments across the business
  • Create exhibits utilizing source data from GIS, spreadsheets, Aries, Petra, etc. suitable for external presentations and board materials.
  • Routine use of ArcMap and required extensions for editing spatial data and analysis of vector and raster data.
  • Extract wells data from Petra to maintain the geodatabase.
  • Perform analysis summaries based of raster grid data converted from Petra. Convert vector data sources from exhibits and enterprise geodatabase to layers for use Petra.
  • Maintain land based layers of company lease and operated sections in Associated-Read-Only format for Petra.
  • Input new data for enterprise geodatabase and exhibits based on information which requires georeferencing from third party source material.
  • Perform research on lease records using Quorum QLS module.
  • Input polygon data into Quorum GIS module, link agreement records to polygons in QGIS.
  • Integrate data from Electronic Data Warehouse with enterprise GIS using join and relate functionality of ArcMap.
