Mission

The aim of the Geomechanics Specialist is to analyze, develop and apply the geomechanical principles for the identification of opportunities, the evaluation and optimization of drilling, the design and the execution of stimulations by hydraulic fracturing. hydraulics, sandblasting and subsidence.

 

 

Main Functions

Provide specialized technical support to multidisciplinary teams in the field of optimization of hydraulic fracturing. Provide specialized technical support to multi>disciplinary teams in the company in the field of optimization of drilling and completion of wells. Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, petrophysicists, drilling and termination engineers, and reservoir engineers to ensure the integration of geomechanics in the optimization of reservoir development. Keep abreast of advances in petroleum geomechanics in industry and the academic world, in order to contribute to excellence in drilling, design and execution of stimulations by hydraulic fractionation. Design data acquisition programs and relevant laboratory tests in order to guarantee the quality of geomechanical models. Interpret, analyze, apply and generate reports relevant to the generation of geomechanical models, to ensure correct decision making. Generate both static and dynamic geomechanical models for analysis in topics related to drilling, hydraulic fracturing, sandblasting and subsidence.
