UniversalPegasus is seeking a Controls Engineer to work in our Trinidad office.
Evaluate, select and apply engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to various engineering tasks
Responsibilities will include: engineering calculations, studies, detailed design, report writing, field investigations
Responsible for the technical content and quality of the work, and adherence to schedules for the assigned task or project
Selects and applies engineering principles and concepts in control systems
Troubleshoot and debug control systems.
PLC and HMI Programming
Responsible for reporting on work progress
Will interact with clients
Responsible for following corporate safety protocols
Disciplined in Control Systems
High level of technical ability
Management of other personnel (if needed)
Be able to work alone as well as in a team.
10 + years relevant industry experience
Good Knowledge of PLC and HMI programming software (Preferred - RSLogix 5, RSLogix 500, Studio 5000, Factory Talk View, Wonderware)
Solid Knowledge of AutoCAD
Read and interpret electrical schematics/drawings.
Must have vehicle.
Ability to respond to call outs even after working hours.
Engineering degree from an accredited college/university required
