Position Description

We are seeking a Safety Compliance Coordinator to join Inspection Support Services Division in Inspection Department. Incumbent of this position should be capable of assisting in planning, establishing, implementing and maintaining a verity of safety measures in line with Saudi Aramco corporate safety and environmental standards and requirements. Inspection Department provides support and services to other Saudi Aramco organizations, Joint Ventures and national interests by inspecting project constructions, materials procurement for new and existing facilities, and by implementing an integrated quality management system and technology solutions to ensure quality and integrity of capital programs and operating facilities.
Minimum Requirements

BS degree in safety engineering, electrical engineering or in a related field is preferred.

Must have seven (7) years of related safety/operational experience and/or training, preferably in the oil/gas or petrochemical industry.

Must have knowledge or training in safety compliance with applicable industry, governmental and/or international standards.

Must have demonstrated knowledge of delivering hands on safety training.

Must also have ability to assist with developing, implementing, and coordinating comprehensive safety programs.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written for training/PowerPoint presentations/report writing, etc.

Strong PC skills and ability to travel and drive.

Ability to work at all levels within an organization and the ability to work in a diverse work group.
Duties and Responsibilities

Selected candidate will be working with Inspection Department as Safety Compliance Coordinator and the responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

Assists with planning, establishing, implementing and maintaining a variety of safety measures and initiatives to ensure compliance with corporate and department level HSE requirements and expectations.

Helps to establish criteria, evaluate compliance, and develop corrective measures to improve safety performance.

Coordinates department level Safety Training Needs, Safety Matrix and the Annual Safety Training Plan.

Coordinates, monitors and track Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) and related KPIs.

Participates in the evaluation of the viability of ongoing safety compliance and awareness programs.

Participates with internal and external organizations to effectively assess safety needs and implement programs to accomplish specific business objectives.

Monitors work in progress and reviews of completed reports and surveys, and advises and consults on matters of Company policy, procedures and standards related to department level safety matters.

Performs other safety related activities as directed by Inspection Department management and as per OCD Job Description.
