Job Description

The Process Technician's responsibilities include:

  • Operating process units within the Production Area in accordance with: Standard Operating Plan, Daily Operating Instructions, Production Team Leader's instructions and within the Design-Operating-Window and the Integrity-Operating-Window of the unit;
  • Managing plant upsets and abnormal conditions and subsequent trouble-shooting including incidents/plant emergencies and subsequent follow-up;
  • Assisting in coordination of daily maintenance planning and participating in shutdown and start-up of units;
  • Keeping log records of operational activities for optimal and thorough handover to other shifts;
  • Operating the plant in compliance to Operating Procedures, Standing Instructions and site Health, Safety, Security, Environment procedures and Housekeeping standards;
  • Participating in minor maintenance activities and other related duties as directed by Production Team Leader and Senior colleagues within shift;
  • On the Job Training is provided.

Requirements

  • Nitec, Higher Nitec in Chemical Process Technology;
  • Diploma, in Chemical Engineering / Chemical & Pharmaceutical Engineering / Chemical & Green Technology / Clean Energy / Material Science;
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply;
  • Must be able to perform shift after completion of In-house training program;
  • Male applicant must have completed National Service.
