Located in region: Europe      

We are currently recruiting for an FPSO Business Manager on behalf of our client. This is a permanent position based in Aberdeen with frequent business travel to Norway.

Job Summary:
Develops best-for-business outcome for an existing asset as it nears the end of its current deployment
Has overall responsibility for the process of disposal, sale, or a redeployment project
Represents the SLT in daily management of the redeployment process

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible and accountable for establishment and achievement of financial, time and quality metrics
Responsible for bidding and negotiating and executing the full suite of required agreements
Participates in continuous improvement and development of best practice in compliance with outcomes of the Redeployment Project
Establishes and leads redeployment team
Enables the involvement and alignment of competencies and support across the organization - multi- professional in the business unit and corporate organisations
Works closely in briefing, making recommendations to and taking guidance and direction from Steering Committee, Senior Leadership Team, Investment Committee and Board
Ensures communication strategy is developed and followed

Requirements (Knowledges/Skills/Abilities):
Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry (FPSO experience strongly desirable)
Experience in a management/ supervisory position
Experience in a commercial role in one or more of business development, project management, and/ or asset management, including extensive client and contractor management
A proven record in contractual and commercial negotiations
Strong leadership skills
Ability to manage and work with a multi-disciplined team / task force
A strategic mindset
Organized and systematic approach to work
Self-starter / proactive
Ability to independently prioritize tasks and drive processes, set and achieve targets
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Diplomacy and assertiveness
