Supports field construction activity as it relates to tank battery, facility, flowline and pipeline installation and expansion projects. Construction Foreman will supervise contract roustabout/construction crews to ensure safe, timely and cost-effective facilities are constructed. Position reports to Facilities Superintendent.


  • Plan and execute timely delivery of oil and gas facilities to meet production targets
  • Forward looking planning ensure equipment is ordered and facilities are in place on schedule
  • Facilities include tank batteries, process facilities, flowlines, pipeline connections
  • Some maintenance projects may be included
  • Supervise contract construction and roustabout services to ensure safe, cost effective and timely installation
  • Order necessary facility equipment to ensure fit for purpose, timely, cost effective installation
  • Maintain ongoing field costs and projections for projects
  • Request quotes for services and equipment as needed to ensure best value
  • Recommend modifications to simplify or optimize battery designs
  • Maintain a weekly construction report of current activities and forward-looking plans
  • Provide costs for various facility projects as required for AFE's
  • Attend all schools and meetings that are held for safety, training or otherwise.


  • Execute periodic maintenance projects as required
  • Maintain an accurate listing of surplus and inventory equipment for possible re-use


  • Supervise contractors as needed
  • Support ROW/landman to ensure necessary agreements are in place for pipeline connections


  • 5 years minimum in oilfield construction supervision or related oilfield operations
  • High school diploma plus oilfield-related courses and training
  • Highly organized
  • Very good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with contractors, vendors and land owners
  • Familiar with MS Office products
  • Project management skills and concepts

Office based with approximately 70% of time in field
