Develop your passion
As a SIU 400 NC metalworker , you will operate a state-of-the-art NC machine tool with the Sinumerik One control system and participate in the machining of large and high-precision workpieces. Your main work will be the machining of rotors for generators, which form the bulk of production. The work requires a high degree of precision, technical skill and responsibility.
As a SIU 400 NC metalworker, you will:
- Operate the SIU 400 Sinumerik One NC machine tool
(diameter of clamping plate 4 m, maximum machining length 20 m) - Machine workpieces, mainly rotors for generators (approx. 95% of production)
- Work with workpieces weighing 10-100 tons
- Machining using steady rests (supports) to ensure stability and accuracy
- Perform manual centering of the workpiece in the clamping plate
- Work with dimensional tolerances of 0.025 mm
- Perform ovality honing 0.006 mm
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Apprenticeship in the field of metalworking (can be replaced by appropriate practice)
- A combination of experience on both NC and classic machines is an advantage
- Willingness to work in continuous operation
- Ability to communicate in the Czech language both verbally and in writing
