Description
: Under direct supervision, performs assigned activities in accordance with the chemical hygiene plan and current HSE safety standards in the laboratory. Strictly adheres to established safety rules and procedures while performing duties. Conducts routine laboratory tests according to defined procedures or those requiring the appropriate selection of test equipment and instrumentation. May also participate in the construction of prototypes, models, and special equipment, as well as in the execution of basic materials or environmental tests, using fundamental techniques and electrical/electronic, chemical, and mechanical equipment, including preparation, calibration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and data collection. Operates laboratory equipment or other operational equipment, such as pumps and rigs, as needed to perform assigned tasks. Records and documents test data for reporting purposes and maintains up-to-date documentation and files related to test equipment and results. Requires a maximum educational level of Technical/Associate's Degree in Chemistry or equivalent

- Educational level as a Technician / TSU in Chemistry, Petroleum Chemistry or similar.
- Experience of at least 2 years performing laboratory tests or trials in Stimulations, Cementing, Drilling Fluids or similar.
- General knowledge of regulations, technical procedures and safety standards in laboratories.
- Preferred experience performing calibration and/or maintenance on laboratory equipment.
- Residing in Tabasco.
