Logistics Specialist focused on ensuring that the whole logistics operation and activities in always flowing efficiently
As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring company operations in accordance with state legislation, statutory provisions and requirements and company policies
- Arranging and managing all logistics activities and related systems information
- Coordinating customs clearance for import/export shipments
- Coordinating import and export transportation in
- Coordinating deliveries in line with production demands, overseeing internal logistics challenges ensuring that materials are available for production and shipments are ready for dispatch when required.
- Reviewing and optimizing costs to ensure products and projects are delivered to budget and operating margin
- Contacting vendors, customers, carriers, etc. to coordinate transportation and resolve any problems and issues
- Executes all shipping documentation required for goods transportation
- Providing weekly and monthly reports for imports, exports, domestic transportation, cost saving, job volumes, shipments tracking etc
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Have at least 5 year of experience in Logistics is required (experience of international export / import coordination)
- Have Incoterms knowledge
- Good knowledge Customs Legislation
- Be able to speak Kazakh, Russian and English fluently
- Have knowledge of international logistics (Import and export)
- Be proficient with Microsoft tools (Excel and Word), SAP skills are preferable
- Have knowledge of transportation and cost for all modes of transport
