Job Duties:
These are entry-level positions for maintenance personnel seeking to develop a career as a Mechanical or Electronic Technician. Under direct supervision, you will acquire and/or reinforce knowledge of routine preventive maintenance and basic repairs on a variety of Halliburton equipment. Subsequently, you will assist mechanical maintenance technicians in performing more complex repairs before becoming an independent Technician I. You will be responsible for ensuring that tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and effectively. The activities of this position, when performed correctly, have an indirect impact on cost control, efficiency, profitability, or operations. A technical degree/associate's degree is required as the minimum level of education for Mechanical Technician vacancies, and a degree in Electronics/Mechanical-Electrical Engineering is required as the minimum level of education for Electronics Technician vacancies.
Requirements

• Technical/Associate's degree in Mechanics or related field required for Mechanical Technician vacancies. Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering required for Electronics Technician vacancies.
• At least 1 year of experience in activities related to preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical or electronic equipment in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Availability to board platforms and ships.
• Preferred: hold a type D seaman's book.
