  Survey Compliance: Ensure all offshore survey operations comply with project specifications, IHO/IMCA/IOGP standards, and regulatory requirements.

·       Contractor Oversight: Supervise survey contractors, vessel crews, and third-party providers to ensure accurate execution and adherence to approved procedures.

·       Data Quality Assurance: Review and validate offshore survey data (e.g., positioning, metrology, seabed scans) to ensure integrity and usability.

·       Interface Coordination: Act as the offshore focal point between company teams (Drilling, Marine, Subsea, HSE) and survey contractors.

·       Daily Reporting: Provide timely and detailed reports on survey progress, anomalies, and corrective actions to the Senior Project Surveyor.

·       HSE Compliance: Ensure all offshore survey activities are conducted in accordance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.

·       Permit and Regulatory Support: Ensure survey operations align with environmental and regulatory permits and local authority requirements.

·       Change Management: Identify and communicate any deviations from scope or methodology that may impact project outcomes.

·       Technical Review: Participate in pre-survey planning, method statements, and risk assessments to ensure technical robustness.

Construction Support: Provide survey support for rig/barge positioning, pipelay touchdown monitoring, and subsea inspections.

 

Lead and manage all offshore survey activities as the company's representative.
Coordinate and supervise contractors, vessel crews, and third-party consultants.
Ensure survey operations align with project schedule, scope, and budget.
Manage daily planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking offshore.
Review and approve offshore survey methodologies, equipment calibration, and data acquisition procedures.
Conduct field inspections, data audits, and quality checks on deliverables.
Validate and sign off on final survey reports in accordance with project specifications and Geomatics standards.
Enforce strict compliance with HSE policies and procedures offshore.
Lead daily safety briefings and toolbox talks with all survey personnel.
Monitor safe work practices, proper use of PPE, and adherence to environmental protection measures.
Identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely reporting and investigation of incidents or near misses.
Maintain a detailed daily offshore log covering activities, personnel, equipment, and weather conditions.
Prepare and submit comprehensive daily and weekly progress reports.
Document non-conformances, corrective actions, QA/QC findings, and HSE observations.
Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and archived in accordance with company standards.
