Activities
• Follow the offshore preparation phase for the vessels and pressurized apparatus visit work program, discuss the scope with his / her superintendent for better interpretation before passing the scope to contractor for the survey or execution.
• To follow the survey with the contractor ensuring that the final drawing, if any, are in accordance and covering the requested scope, verify and correct the execution procedure elaborated by the contractor
• To coordinate the elaboration of necessary material list with the contractor, the check of necessary spare part in offshore warehouse and the request from onshore in case of missing material
• To request and receive erection lose material from onshore ensuring that the quantity are in accordance with engineering drawing
• To ensure that all necessary resources are ready for the work execution (scaffolding equipments, manpower, tools, ...)
• Coordinate the interface with the permit coordinator for permit to work elaboration and signature before to start the work • Ensure that all necessary lifting equipments, machines and tools, previously identified in the execution procedures, are received before work execution and are inspected in order to ensure it is maintained fit for intended service
• To supervise the work execution on site ensuring the good realization of work in respect of the procedures, specifications, safety and environmental protection.
• In charge of gathering all close out documents (CAT, PCO, quality documents, ...), ensuring that the work execution time and associated man-hours are inserted in the work order then after advise the superintendent / onshore coordinator for the close out.
• To participate in the technical operational analysis, audits and inspections. HSE RESPONSABILITIES
• Animate the toolbox and the pre-job meeting each morning before the commencement of daily activities.
• Participate to all HSE activities on board (JRA, RLO, HSE Committees meetings, and regular drills for handling emergency response ...).
• Conduct regular audits and inspections in order to ensure the hygienic conditions and good Housekeeping is maintain and that all safety equipments being used by contractors are in compliance with HSE rulers
• Ensure the contractor man-power on board (company and Contractor) under his/her responsibility have all the mandatory trainings to work in company's sites (onshore and 2 offshore) like:
o Valid Medical Certificates
o Valid BST/HUET trainings or equivalent
o N1/N2 training
o Company 12 Rules training o Etc.....
• Maintaining the working conditions with minimal risk of personnel harm and adverse impact to the environment.
• Incentivize the contractor personal to report any incident, anomaly, unsafe act, near miss, damage, spill, injury
Context and environment
• Offshore / Onshore, hot and humid environment. Job involves entry into confined spaces, also involves climbing on scaffolds, much walking and climbing of stairs; HP oil and gas process.
• Work in a multi cultural environment with different interfaces with different entities.
Purposes
• Ensure that a valid permit to work is signed and all necessary conditions are fulfilled prior to any activity commencement, supervise the work execution, apply management of change in case of any deviation to initial plan in order to perform the work in compliance with the procedures, quality, safety and environmental rules, by optimizing costs and deadlines
