At Eni, we are looking for a General Services Coordinator within Shanghai Eni Engineering Consulting Limited Company in Shanghai, China. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of general services activities in line with defined contractual conditions, guaranteeing the quality and cost effectiveness of the services provided, and facilitating the relocation and onboarding of expatriate personnel.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure the design and delivery of infrastructures for personnel, permanent and temporary offices, and ancillary buildings across different locations; as well as residential buildings and support structures, coordinating the selection and sourcing of suitable options for the company and its personnel.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise transportation services for personnel.
- Manage relocation services and expatriate administration (immigration and mobilisation).
- Ensure the development of all necessary services for personnel and business in order to support and facilitate the implementation of company initiatives in the country.
- Maintain effective relationships with relevant company functions and partners for the associated activities.
- Oversee the identification of best practices for the services provided, collaborating with the competent functions of Eni.
- Promote and oversee actions aimed at identifying solutions that create synergies and support the improvement and innovation of services, including the adoption of new technologies and the benchmarking of selected activities.
- Oversee the design and optimisation of service management processes with the aim of achieving cost savings while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Ensure, in cooperation with Health, Security, and HSE departments, the development of best practices relating to health, security, and environmental protection for all relevant activities.
- Perform additional tasks as required by the nature, specificities, and operational needs of the Company.
- Ensure full compliance with company and national HSE requirements by applying the HSE Management System, maintaining safe working conditions, ensuring adequate HSE training for staff, and verifying that contractors are competent and fully aligned with HSEQ procedures.
Skills and experience required:
- University degree.
- Training in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Significant experience relevant to the role, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with frequent interaction with other disciplines and third parties.
- Strong ability to work with people from multiple cultures and backgrounds.
- High level of professional and personal integrity.
- Fluency in Chinese and English (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
