Team up with the best

As a CNC Machinist (M/F), you will be responsible for machining parts of revolution on parallel and/or vertical lathes and/or CNC machines, and for applying manufacturing instructions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Pre-set the cutting tools in accordance with the Methods instruction sheets and/or a plan based on a plan, a machining range established by the Methods Department.
  • Perform machining of various parts, on traditional and/or CNC machines, according to the machining program established by the methods department.
  • Perform the programming by following the instructions on the BM range.
  • Create and/or modify the programs of the Methods office as needed.
  • If an error occurs, investigate the cause of the malfunction.
  • Ensure the monitoring of first-level machine maintenance (maintenance sheets)
  • Perform preventive maintenance and replace common worn parts of the tools and equipment provided at the workstation
  • Ensure traceability of parts and validate (signature + date) production ranges
  • Ensure adherence to the time range
  • Apply all instructions or operating procedures related to the machining operation (quality, HSE, production)
  • Clean your machine, keep your workstation clean and tidy.
  • Monitor the proper functioning of your machine and the presetting bench.
  • Notify your superiors in case of machine malfunction or any difficulties encountered.
  • Perform a check of your machining and the overall condition of the part
  • Training new arrivals (apprentices, interns, new hires)
  • May be asked to participate in a working group and make suggestions for improvement
  • Facilitate the internal audit process.
  • Analyze the documents associated with the room.
  • Adapting to the technical challenges of the position

To succeed in this role, you will need to:

 

 

  • Hold a technical diploma specializing in machining trades
  • Demonstrate significant experience in a similar role within a demanding industrial environment, preferably in cylindrical grinding.
  • Knowing how to read a machining range, a part drawing...
  • Knowing how to calculate/program the cutting conditions for your machine
  • Knowing how to use a CNC machine
  • To be rigorous, organized and methodical
  • Demonstrate autonomy and be able to take initiative
  • To be curious and have an analytical and reflective mind
  • Ability to work 3x8 shifts
