Job Requirements Field Service Engineer - Wellheads, you wil be responsible for:
- Keeping Safe and Compliant performance with all EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) matters and or targets required by internal and external Stakeholders
- Participating actively in all Safety related initiatives on/offshore
- Installing and maintaining of BHGE MS700 Wellhead and associated equipment involving but not limited to: Pressure Assist Running Tool, Wear Bushing Run and Retrieve Tool, related Guide Base installs, Casing Hanger runs, Cam Actuated Running Tools etc.
- Resoluting of Technical problems both on/offshore and pro-active involvement in product improvement.
- Working closely maintaining Baker Hughes high expectation of working with uncompromising Integrity to ensure 100% compliance with regulatory requirements
- Using of company e-tools to retrieve technical documents when required
- Maintaining a strong customer relationship through a positive, proactive and professional approach
- Reporting to the Field Service Manager, this role may require the candidate to supervise junior personnel and proactively assist in their training and development on/off shore.
Work Experience To be successful in this role you will:
- Have Strong technical background with demonstrable exposure to offshore drilling campaigns and working knowledge of Baker Hughes Wellhead systems preferred
- Have minimum of 5 years experience with Subsea Drilling equipment working in deep-water and National Certificate or Mechanical Apprenticeship or similar preferred
- Have a Good written and oral English
- Be Technically astute, ideally with demonstrable exposure to Baker Hughes Wellhead systems
- Have minimum of 5 years experience with Wellhead systems working in a deep-water offshore environment
- Have a minimum of Higher National Certificate or similar in a relevant Engineering discipline
- Be able prove to interface with Customers on a one-to-one basis
- Be able to travel at short notice to potentially global locations.
- Have Strong communication skills and b asic knowledge of installation processes
