As a Data Governance Expert , you will join Plenitude Societa Benefit . Specifically, the Data Governance and Quality team 's mission is to design and guide the future of Data & AI Governance frameworks, defining standards and priorities that make data and AI assets reliable, secure, and accountable. It enables evolving information ecosystems by governing the data lifecycle and the transformation of Data Management models, in harmony with the corporate data architecture, to convert data into strategic, measurable, and sustainable value that fuels decisions, advanced analytics, and continuous innovation.
Key activities:
- Evolve the Data and AI Governance framework by reviewing the Data Domain, Data Processes, AI Systems and related roles and responsibilities, coordinating the activities for using the Data and AI Catalog
- Contribute to the construction of the development and integration roadmap of Data Governance tools (Collibra) with the Data and AI Platform (Azure Databricks)
- Support the definition of Data Management and Data Architecture guidelines to support the company's Business Strategy and Data Strategy
- Coordinate and execute Data Stewardship activities across corporate domains in support of Data Owners, Product Owners, and Data Experts
- Support Data Strategy stakeholders in applying Data Management principles from a Data Product and Data Mesh perspective
- Helping Plenitude maximize the value from data
- Coordinate Plenitude's country and legal entities in applying Data & AI Governance standards within a Hub and Spoke model.
Required characteristics:
- Master's degree in STEM subjects or in economics; different and/or inferior study paths will be considered based on significant experience in the field
- At least 3 years of experience, preferably in similar roles, in large organizations where the DATA and AI component plays a fundamental role as an enabler of the Business Strategy
- Experience in Data Architecture and Data Management in Data Platform contexts (preferably Databricks)
- Good familiarity with Data and AI Governance principles, including related legislation
- Good knowledge of programming and data query tools (sql, phyton) and reporting tools (Power BI)
- Good knowledge of the English language
The profile is completed by:
- Interest in emerging data and AI technologies
- Experience in configuring and using Data Governance suites (preferably Collibra)
- Knowledge/experience with building Semantic Layers/Knowledge Hubs
- Good knowledge of data systems and processes, enterprise architecture concepts and notions
- Knowledge of Spanish, French, or Greek will be considered a plus.
