Performance Energy are seeking an experienced Rig Superintendent to oversee land-based drilling operations in the Middle East. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead deep vertical drilling projects on high-powered rigs in technically challenging environments.
You will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of drilling activities, while managing rig personnel and driving performance optimization to meet project targets.

As Rig Superintendent, you will be responsible for the oversight of all drilling operations on the rig. Your duties include managing personnel, coordinating onsite activities, and resolving complex drilling challenges such as HPHT, H2S exposure, loss circulation, and hole stability issues. You will supervise a full rig crew, ensuring safety standards, training compliance, and operational discipline are upheld at all times.

Requirements

-12+ years of industry experience in drilling operations.
-Minimum 2 years experience as a Rig Superintendent on deep drilling land rigs with over 3,000 HP.
- Demonstrated expertise in:
HPHT operations
H2S environments
Loss of circulation control
Hole stability challenges
-Experience drilling vertical wells on rigs ranging from 1,500 HP to 3,000 HP, with depths up to 35,000 ft in sandstone formations.
-Knowledge of light oil operations and safety protocols in high-risk drilling environments.
