Imagine your job:
As a Junior Process Engineer , you will be part of Novamont , a Versalis company. In particular, within your Corporate Engineering team , you will be responsible for supporting the structure in the development of innovation projects relating to downstream and upstream plants in the bioplastics and chemical intermediates segment.
Main activities:
- Collaborate in the development of new products and production processes.
- Participate in the design and conduct of experimental tests at the pilot laboratory/industrial demonstrator level.
- Collaborate in defining unit operations to ensure correct scale transitions.
- Develop and process material and energy balances while being familiar with process simulation models.
- Participate in the drafting of technical-economic feasibility studies for the implementation of new initiatives.
- Collaborate in improving production processes.
- Participate in the study and design activities of process plants and equipment from basic engineering and when required up to detail by developing technical specifications and sizing.
Required features:
- Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Maximum 3 years experience preferably in industrial chemical processes
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
- Knowledge of Project Management is appreciated
- Availability to travel and/or stay for extended periods at other units of the Company
