At Eni, we are looking for a Vendor Management, Reporting & Compliance Specialist to join Eni Cote d'Ivoire in Abidjan. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that APCO's Vendor Management (VM) activities comply with established standards and procedures, and will handle specific tasks related to supplier qualification.

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Implement all aspects of the VM process, including supplier evaluation, audits and profiling.
  • Plan, monitor, report and revise standards for VM activities under APCO leadership, aligned with company needs.
  • Prepare ad hoc data analyses to improve VM process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to official company reports such as the "Procurement Outlook" and long-term planning like the "Vendor Qualification Plan".
  • Conduct audits and checks to ensure VM procedures comply with Eni's rules and company standards.
  • Liaise with APCO to collect, review and monitor VM formats, standards, processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate the Supplier Qualification team and manage communication between Eni, other Eni group companies and the project team.
  • Update supplier (and subcontractor, if needed) profiles and qualifications through periodic analyses, re-evaluation reports and feedback management.
  • Implement the local supplier development process.
  • Prepare periodic reports as directed by the Procurement & Contracts Manager, in coordination with other Contract & Procurement functions.


Skills and experience required:

 

 

  • BAC+2/BAC+3 in Procurement or related fields.


The candidate must demonstrate:

 

 

  • A high-performance orientation with strong attention to detail.
  • Teamwork skills and frequent interaction with other project disciplines and external institutions.
  • Excellent audit and control skills.
  • Proficiency in IT tools (Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
  • A high level of professional and personal integrity.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
