A brilliant permanent opportunity for a Senior Transmission & Interconnection Manager to join a renewable energy developer! This is a fully remote opportunity, or there is an optional office in Austin if you prefer.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage interconnection applications from inception to COD;
• Track and deliver on project milestones and other associated requirements;
• Perform system modeling and transmission analysis for a growing portfolio of Energy Storage, Solar, Wind, and Hybrid projects;
• Replicate ISO and utility interconnection studies to identify potential impacts and costs of interconnecting generation to power systems;
• Act as a subject matter expert on interconnection queues, transmission plans, tariffs, and business practice changes;

Qualifications

• 4 years minimum experience with transmission analysis and interconnection queue management;
• Bachelor's in electrical engineering with additional consideration given to applicants with advanced degrees;
• Previous experience at an IPP, consultant, or similar desired;
• Proficient in one or more power system PowerFLOW tools: TARA, PSS/E, PSLF;
• Experience in one or more organized electric markets (CAISO, NYISO, PJM, ERCOT)
• Working knowledge of NERC planning standards
