Activities

2. To ensure that safe and ethic working practices are carried out within the activities that he/she is managing or interfacing with. To guarantee the compliance on his activities.

3. To ensure that state of the art, TEPA referential and local rules/laws are complied with and captured in all contractual requirements.

 4. To work by anticipation.

 5. With the spirit of One TOTAL values, to establish and manage his/her activities motivating his/her counterparts and to work diligently to meet the targets of the Projects.

6. To promote innovation as far as compatible with good enough approach for all activities. To seek optimization and savings all along the different phases of the project. To focus on costs without impairing QHSE objectives.

7. To identify technical, procurement or resources bottleneck which could lead to schedule slippage

8. To timely review the documents issued by Contractors and main Suppliers (Subcontractors and Vendors), for compliance with CPY and Project requirements and raise consequently all necessary comments.

 9. To ensure QC is performed according to ITP. To keep track of any technical deviation from Contractual requirements, including supporting documentation such as mark-up, RFC, RFD, Quality Notices.

10. To follow-up the reported Project non-conformities, derogations, correctives actions and punch lists related to welding, material and testing activities. To possibly involve in the root cause analysis. To chase-up when necessary, the closure process of actions.

11. To keep CSR, Flowline & Structure lead, topside lead and QAQC lead and all parties (as required) informed regarding ongoing activities status.

12. To ensure confidentiality of all the documentation produced (whatever its support)

 13. To gather 'lessons learnt' and provide feedback to other TotalEnergies EP entities as required

Context and environment

The DALIA LIFEX development is part of PBF, the brownfield project division of TEPA managing projects from FEED/Basic Engineering to Startup/ hand-over to Block Field Operation teams. PBF is managing EPC contracts with major international Contractors but also local players including onshore prefabrication in Angola, offshore construction and Installation (FPSO modifications, SURF, SPS, SIMOPS, high number of contractors & subcontractors).

 Accountabilities

-All above, the service holder is also accountable for demonstrating, individually, an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE rules and requirements.

- The service holder is responsible, within DALIA LIFEX SURF team and under the Company Site Representative's supervision and will support Welding & NDT activities for following-up, monitoring and supervising the inspection of all welding & NDT activities associated with FLETs, ILTs, Spools and structures in general carried out by the Contractor/Subcontractors during the manufacturing phase, ensuring that QC contractual and technical requirements are met.

- The service holder will participate in routine and random inspections/audits/tests, etc., performs QC visits and tours and en sures an adequate reporting (areas of concerns, problems encountered in the implementation of the QC Inspection Plan by the Contractors) to DALIA LIFEX SURF CSR.

- Service holder shall ensure approved WPS are always at welding station

 - The service holder will also be responsible for witnessing welding & NDT activities and keep records.

 - As a general manner, the service holder provides assistance to the Package team with Quality related matters and all matters related to Welding / NDT activities.

 - The service holder will maintain Welding & NDT records and will in particular monitor and report repair rate. - The service holder is responsible for issue detail weekly report (including expediting/progress figures)

- Due to effort in share of resources, the service holder may be required to follow several activities on several projects.

Qualifications/Experience required

 • Professional Experience (years): min10 years as QAQC Inspector in the Oil and Gas Industry

• Experience in similar position (years): mini 5 in similar role

• Level / Diploma: Education to HNC level or above in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.

• Vocational qualifications: CSWIP 3.1 & ASNT level II (UT, MPI, DPI), NACE II would be a plus

• Languages: English mandatory
