Position: Pipeline Inspector
Location: Offshore, Qatar
Project: Brownfield EPC Shutdown (Oil & Gas)

Job Purpose:
To ensure all pipeline installation, welding, coating, hydro testing, and commissioning activities for the EPC Shutdown project are carried out in accordance with project specifications, international standards, and QHSE requirements, specifically for the platform jackets and topsides in Qatar offshore field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and supervise pipeline fabrication and installation activities on jackets and topsides.
- Verify compliance with EPC project drawings, specifications, QCS, ASME, API, DNV, ISO, and other applicable standards.
- Monitor welding activities (CS, SS, CRA materials), WPS, PQR, WPQ, and ensure proper NDT procedures are implemented.
- Inspect coating applications (FBE, 3LPE, and internal coatings) and ensure correct surface preparation and DFT.
- Ensure all work adheres to QHSE and Permit to Work (PTW) systems, especially during shutdown activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Technical Qualification:
Sr. CWI / CSWIP 3.2 Certified Welding Sr. Inspector or approved equivalent for pipelines.
· Minimum of 5 years of pipeline QC operation experience for offshore installation and construction;
· Employ subject to QE approval
· BOSIET + H2S certificate
· CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding certificate
· Higher National Diploma (HND) or Diploma
(in respective engineering discipline) or higher educational qualification in engineering
· 10 Years inspection experience including 2 years of this inspection experience in the specific commodity and processes to be inspected
