Job Description
The Technical Service Coordinator ensures that all technical tasks related to the department's hazardous materials management are completed quickly and efficiently. In addition, the Technical Service Coordinator provides technical service to customers.
Main responsibilities:
- Generate bids and tenders for hazardous materials;
- Codify hazardous materials;
- Carry out assessments and various environmental reports and any other technical reports;
- Respond to customer needs and perform;
- Be able to do special computer projects;
- Carry out waste profiling;
- Verify and authorize chemical analysis reports;
- All other related tasks.
- Qualifications
Required requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering or chemical technology with experience in the field;
- Proficiency in the Office suite, the Google suite and accounting software packages;
- Functional English (written and spoken);
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
- Person able to work under pressure;
- Innovative, loyal spirit, and dedicated to projects for the well-being of the company;
- Prone to take on challenges;
- Adopt a good work structure and a good sense of organization;
- Positive leader and a sense of customer service;
- Ease of communicating both orally and in writing.
Work Environment:
Permanent, full-time position with a work schedule of Monday to Friday, daytime.
The incumbent spends approximately 90% of their time in an office environment managing client files and conducting market research. The position may require extended periods of sitting; telephone and/or computer work. 10% of the position requires regular meetings with the team.
