At Eni, we are looking for a Field Operator - Fractionation, Warm & Cold Section within Coral FLNG S.A. in Maputo, Mozambique. You will safely and efficiently operate and control ISBL units (acid gas removal, dehydration, mercury removal, fractionation, boosting, refrigeration, LNG storage, BOG and LNG loading) from the site outside the CCR, following approved operating procedures, CCR operator guidance and Field Supervisor instructions

Main responsibilities:
- Carry out all site activities to start up process units and equipment within the ISBL according to start-up procedures relevant to Black/Cold/Hot start-up.
- Monitor facilities, log data, and operate local control panels and equipment within the assigned area. Report any faults or defects and take first-line action to correct abnormal situations to limit risk to personnel, plant equipment and production during emergency situations. Proactively propose corrective actions to prevent incidents and escalations.
- Perform all site activities to safely shut down processes and equipment as per shutdown procedures when required.
- Continuously coordinate with the CCR operator to handle all plant operating activities.
- Carry out isolation, inerting and defrosting of equipment within the assigned area.
- Act as Area Authority for all permits to work in the assigned area, review and follow up and prepare equipment for maintenance.
- Implement the plant housekeeping program within the assigned area.
- Monitor and effectively control the consumption of chemicals.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of operating procedures and relevant improvement initiatives by providing necessary inputs for frequent updates.
- Support maintenance activities within the assigned area by shutting down equipment/process units and preparing them for maintenance intervention in cooperation with CCR operators.
- Support turnaround activities by safely shutting down the facility, preparing the process and equipment for maintenance/inspection activities, carrying out mandated tests, preparing the process and equipment for restart and safely restarting the facility after turnaround completion.
- Ensure proper shift handover and reporting to the next shift.
- Stay updated with the latest standing instructions, modifications and procedures.
- Support the operation training program by assisting field operator trainees during their On-Job Training (OJT).
- Participate in the Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
Skills and experience required:
- BSc in Engineering or Science, or a High Technical School diploma.
- Extensive experience in the LNG industry.
- Offshore certification.
- Knowledge of large-scale rotating equipment, particularly gas turbines and compressors.
- Strong understanding of firefighting, emergency response plans, and rescue plans.
- Proficient knowledge of the Permit to Work System.
- Solid understanding of safety golden rules, such as working at height and welding.
- Demonstrated personal commitment to Health, Safety, and the Environment.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written). Intermediate knowledge of the local language (Portuguese) is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Flexible and adaptable with a positive can-do attitude, excellent team player, strong communication skills and effective problem-solving abilities.
