At Eni, we are looking for a CORAL SURF C.R. Operator (DS) within Eni Rovuma Basin B.V. in Maputo, Mozambique. You will be responsible for operating, monitoring and controlling the subsea production facilities in accordance with Company's operating strategies and procedures.

Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).

Main responsibilities:
  • Monitor the behavior of all SURF facilities, processes and devices to ensure compliance with safe operational limits.
  • Operate the SURF and component devices and equipment in accordance with agreed operating strategies and procedures to ensure the integrity and reliability of the SURF facilities.
  • Identify abnormal process/equipment behaviors and resolve any issues in accordance with safe operating practices and procedures.
  • Escalate issues as required to senior operations personnel.
  • Prepare shift reports for SURF for submission to the Production Supervisor.
  • Liaise with FLNG control room operators as required to deliver and maintain feed gas supply to the FLNG process facilities in accordance with agreed production plans and targets.
  • Understand and respond appropriately to emergency process and safety-related events in accordance with defined emergency response procedures.
  • Prepare and execute test procedures for SURF devices in accordance with operating procedures and equipment manuals to minimize SURF downtime and maintain continuous subsea facility operation.
  • Perform housekeeping tasks in areas of responsibility to eliminate safety hazards and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Actively contribute to the development of junior colleagues, including providing mentoring and coaching in the area of subsea production operations.
  • Ensure SURF facilities are operated safely and effectively.
  • Coordinate effectively with other CR operators and supervisory staff.
  • Communicate effectively - verbally and in writing - regarding the operation of SURF.

Skills and experience required:
  • Technical Diploma.
  • Recent and continuous experience as a Control Room Panel Operator in modern, high-production O&G process plants.
  • Experience in CCR with modern DCS and Safety Integrity Systems (SIS).
  • Experience operating gas/condensate wells.
  • Experience operating deep water wells and facilities.
  • Familiarity with gas hydrate management systems and processes.
  • Intermediate level of English.
