Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Independent Methanol & Chemical Injection Skid Manufacturing Inspector to oversee the quality and compliance of Methanol Injection Skid and Chemical Injection Skid components used in offshore Oil & Gas production transmission. This role requires a solid understanding of skid fabrication, piping systems, and instrumentation to ensure adherence to API 675, ASME, ISO 9001, PED, and other applicable industry standards. The ideal candidate will be skilled in inspecting frames, valves, pumps, and control systems, using precision measurement tools and reporting non-conformances to engineering and quality teams. Preference will be given to candidates already residing near the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct inspections at various manufacturing stages, verifying dimensions, material integrity, and system assembly.

· Ensure compliance with API 675 (metering pumps), ASME B31.3 (process piping), ISO 9001, and PED (Pressure Equipment Directive).

· Monitor the use of precision tools (micrometers, calipers, ultrasonic thickness gauges, pressure test equipment, and NDT tools) to verify tight tolerances.

· Perform material traceability checks, ensuring all components meet required certifications and industry standards.

· Identify and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), collaborating with engineering teams to resolve issues.

· Monitor functional tests, hydrostatic pressure tests, and leak detection tests for skid systems.

· Act as a delivery expediter, ensuring materials arrive on time and monitoring production schedules to prevent delays.

· Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all inspection results.

· Interface with Manufacturer representatives to ensure compliance.

· Ensure regulatory and safety compliance in all manufacturing processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

· Minimum 5+ years of experience in skid manufacturing, high-pressure injection systems, or quality inspection, of offshore Oil & Gas projects.

· Strong knowledge of API 675, ASME B31.3, ISO 9001, and all applicable standards.

· Knowledge of use of precision inspection tools and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) analysis.

· Experience with Nondestructive Testing (NDT) methods, including Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic ParticleTesting (MT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Radiographic Testing (RT), and proficiency in interpreting results.

· Ability to read and analyze complex engineering drawings and P&ID diagrams.

· Strong problem-solving skills for identifying defects and driving corrective actions.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP ERP system, and Quality Control (QC) reporting software.

Preferred Qualifications:

· ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).

· AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) (if relevant to skid piping and pressure vessel inspections)

· PED Category III/IV knowledge for compliance with EU pressure vessel regulations.

· Six Sigma Green/Black Belt for process improvement initiatives.

Performance Metrics for Success:

· Inspection accuracy: Low defect escape rate and minimal post-inspection findings.

· Regulatory compliance: Passing audits with zero major non-conformances.

· Issue resolution speed: Quick turnaround on NCR closure and corrective actions.

· On-time project completion: Ensuring inspections align with production schedules.

· Client and stakeholder satisfaction: Positive feedback from project teams.
