OFFSHORE INSTRUMENTATION INSTALLATION SPECIALIST

 

Reporting to the Project Specialist Leader for an Offshore project in EPC phase, you will be in charge to develop specifications for the installation, performing Hook-up standards, supervising the3D model development for the instrumentation and telecom purposes; in particular the development of main and secondary cable trays (including support) on which you will be mobilized in compliance with the requirements of contracts, international norms and standards, as well as the internal rules of the "Control & Instrumentation" Department (PLEN/INS) .

 

Your main missions will be as follows:

 

  • As part of the project, you will be responsible for the development of specifications related to the installation, development of standards (e.g. hook-up, support standard, etc.), level sketches, main instrumentation and telecommunications cable trays using the AVEVA E3D tool;
  • Creation of technical room plans (instrumentation, telecommunications, CCR, etc.);
  • MTO/BOQ development with associated weights;
  • Cables list development and their assignments into the drums;
  • You will be in charge of your multidisciplinary interfaces within the project (e.g.: piping, structure, electricity, etc.) or which may be multi-sites;
  • You will participate in the development or improvement of installation standards;
  • You will develop progress on the development of the 3D model;
  • Participation to model reviews.

 

Long-term missions and/or travel in our office located in India; to monitor development activities related to the installation; would be expected.

 

In this project context, we are looking for a motivated employee who wants to invest in the installation specialty and integrate into an existing team, who is fluent in English.

Autonomy, rigor, dynamism, sense of communication, curiosity and a taste for teamwork will be essential criteria.

Knowledge of Naviswork, Tekla and Autocad software would be a plus.

 

You will need to have at least 5 to 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas field and in this role.
