Job Description
Job Summary
This pivotal position leads the Product Management team for Veolia WTS's Analytical Instruments product line business. The Product Management Leader oversees development and continuous improvement of Analytical/Process Instruments (ex. TOC analyzers, Bacterial Endotoxin Test equipment, and Bioburden analyzers) in our key Life Science, Microelectronics, Industrial, and Environmental markets. This role is responsible for Life Cycle Management and Multi-Generation Product Planning (MGPP) as well as developing short and long-term revenue growth strategies for Analytical Instruments products, including consumables and services.
The Product Management Leader orchestrates cross-functional activities, including implementation of market strategies for the product portfolio, product development to drive revenue growth across all served markets, and sales enablement including development of market content and creation of training and support programs aligned with annual strategic plans. This requires close collaboration with the Analytical Instruments Technology, Business Growth & Strategy Team and commercial teams.
Key Characteristics:
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of instrumentation, consumables, and service requirements when serving multiple key markets, including Pharmaceutical, Secondary Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Chemical, Petrochemical, Food and Beverage, Power, Municipal Drinking Water, and Wastewater. This expertise is essential for developing innovative solutions and maintaining Veolia WTS's competitive edge in the global water treatment sector.
Duties & Responsibilities
As Global Product Development Leader, this individual will drive a dynamic team of professionals in delivering upon the following while ensuring compliance with company policies, including Quality and EHS standards:
- Product Development and Innovation:
- Maintain deep knowledge of product and market developments
- Act upon opportunities for new market penetration
- Collect, analyze, and prioritize customer feedback
- Conceptualize new products by analyzing customer feedback, market research, emerging technologies, and competitive trends
- Drive continuous improvement of the New Product Introduction (NPI) process on behalf of the commercial organization
- Maintain comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, including segmentation, size, drivers, and trends
- Product Lifecycle Management:
- Develop and maintain a 3-5 year product lifecycle roadmap and strategy for the business working with other key members of the commercial team
- Oversee total product lifecycle utilizing multi-generational product plans and lifecycle management strategies
- Continuously evolve Growth Playbook segments for new product lines
- Collaborate across departments to drive product improvements, differentiation, and market expansion
- Strategic Launch Management:
- Develop and execute product launch plans in collaboration with Commercial, Marketing, Aftermarket, Quality, Technology, and Supply Chain teams
- Create business plans for market entry, including investment and organizational requirements
- Sales and Marketing Enablement:
- Develop and support consultative sales processes, including industry strategies and customer-facing materials
- Support expansion into new applications and markets, validating technical fit and developing region-specific pricing structures
- Create and review application notes, technical papers, and marketing materials to support sales activities
- Regulatory Compliance and Advocacy:
- Understand and navigate applicable regulatory environments
- Drive adoption of current technologies in regulatory frameworks
- Engage with regulators to ensure product compliance with local and federal regulations

- In-depth understanding of water treatment technologies, particularly TOC, Endotoxins and Bioburden measurement systems
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related life sciences; advanced degree preferred
- 7-10 years of professional experience in technical product marketing, or product management, specifically with analytical instruments such as TOC, Endotoxin or Bioburden measurement in water
- Preferably, direct sales experience
- Proven track record in Pharmaceutical, Microelectronics, Industrial, Municipal, Chemical, Petrochemical, Food and Beverage, or closely related industries
- At least 5 years of successful team leadership experience, demonstrating ability to create and nurture high-performing teams
- Minimum 3 years of commercial experience, with a focus on driving business growth and market expansion

- Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $150,000 - 190,000 annually
